The much awaited ICC Champions Trophy 2017 final, ‘The Final’ between Indian and Pakistan, has come to an end.
Winning the toss India chose to bowl first. Pakistan set a mammoth target of 339 runs for India. India right from the start were hammered and rattled. They lost to Pakistan by 180 runs. End of the story? Well not really!
Since the day it was finalized that the finals will be played between India and Pakistan, twitterati all over India had started posting funny tweets, memes and videos.
And now it’s all silent. Common guys! We seriously need to inculcate some sportsmanship and spirit. For the spirit of the game. After all- who plays best, wins the game!
Perhaps the Varun Dhawan’s tweet which was captioned- In sports there is always a winner and loser. Today Pakistan was the better team well played. I am sure India will come back much stronger” and later Sushmita Sen’s post which read- “I love U INDIA!!!There is a reason why V R a leading team in d world…a defeat, however heartbreaking never defines us!!”, actually best define such sports spirit and the fact that instead of going gaga and crazy over India’s defeat, we must appreciate the winning team’s hard work and their superb performance on field.
Just after the IndvsPak finals, the Bollywood celebrities showed such sports spirit and tweeted about the India Vs Pakistan finals. Let us look at few of their tweets-
